Taking a chance that lightning won't strike the telephone line, again, I'm taking advantage of a thunderstorm to reconnect. I truly miss reading about online adventures of people I follow, but, I believe it was Joseph Stalin who said, " No work, no eat."

The storm brings some amazing effects with my defective auto focus, but for now I must leave before I'm struck dead.  I'll be back.

Oh the horror of dial-up or DSL!

You have no idea of the trials and tribulations of dial-up, unless you remember Neolithic times( blunt stone tools and the IMAC) when dial-up was the only choice. It's not a tech issue either. Priorities of budget put ten things ahead of changing our computer connection. Dawn says we need a new mattress after the change I tossed on the bed disappears into a vortex in the center of our horse hair and straw mattress.
